1. Introduction
Integrated Transportation Solutions, LLC ("ITS," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Traffic Signal AI Assistant ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the practices described herein.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information. When you register for the Service, we collect your name, email address, organization or agency name, and billing information necessary to process payment.
2.2 Usage Data. We may automatically collect technical information such as browser type, device type, IP address, pages accessed, session duration, and general usage patterns to improve Service performance and reliability.
2.3 Conversation Data. The Service processes queries and inputs you submit during active sessions to generate responses. As described in Section 4, this data is session-based and is not permanently stored by ITS.
2.4 Cookies & Similar Technologies. We may use cookies or similar tracking technologies to maintain session state, remember preferences, and analyze aggregate usage trends. You may adjust cookie settings through your browser, though some Service functionality may be affected.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
Provide, operate, and maintain the Service; process transactions and manage your account; communicate with you regarding your account, support requests, and Service updates; monitor for security threats, fraud, and Terms violations including credential sharing; improve Service performance, reliability, and user experience; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention & Session-Based Architecture
4.1 Conversation Data. The Service operates on a session-based architecture. Conversation content is processed in real time and is not retained after the user ends or clears a session. ITS does not maintain a persistent database of user queries or AI responses.
4.2 Account Data. Account and billing information is retained for the duration of your subscription and for a reasonable period thereafter as necessary to comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
4.3 Usage Data. Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data may be retained for analytics and Service improvement purposes.
5. Information Sharing & Third Parties
5.1 Service Providers. We may share limited information with third-party vendors who assist in operating the Service, including cloud hosting providers, payment processors, and analytics services. These vendors are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it for the purposes we specify.
5.2 AI Model Providers. The Service may utilize third-party AI models to generate responses. Queries submitted during a session may be transmitted to these providers for processing. We select providers whose data practices align with our commitment to user privacy, and we do not authorize these providers to retain or use your inputs for their own training purposes.
5.3 Legal Requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable government request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of ITS, our users, or the public.
5.4 Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users of any change in ownership or control.
6. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure authentication protocols, and access controls limiting personnel access to user data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Information You Should Not Submit
The Service is not designed to process or store sensitive personal data. You agree not to input Social Security numbers, government-issued identification numbers, credit or debit card numbers, financial account details, protected health information (PHI) subject to HIPAA, criminal history or background check data, or any other data classified as sensitive under applicable privacy laws.
